Saturday “fun” fishing offshore Galveston.

By Uncategorized

Went deep sea fishing this past saturday looking for new spots to fish and hopefully catch some fish. Our first stop was at a production platform arrrox.20 mi. offshore, first drop produced an undersized ling,we continued to fish this platform another 30 min. or so and boxed several kingfish and a spanish mackerel.Time to move further offshore and look around, several stops at 30 to 35 mi.were unproductive so moved on.At 40 mi. found good structure marking lot’s of fish, anchored up and began fishing, caught Red snapper after Red Snapper in the 10 to 20 lb. class, these were released of course as Snapper are out of season. They will be there next year when snapper season opens! Tight Lines……

Fishing Galveston Bay

By Galveston-Fishing

Did a nearshore jetty trip this past friday.Just two anxious anglers aboard for this trip. Our first stop was a winner as we started and ended our trip at the same spot.Four hours of fishing produced 4 large bull red’s and several spinner sharks. It was a beautiful day with calm seas and light winds. Quit Wishin,Go Fishin!
